Default b16 swaped rex problem- PLEASE HELP!

Ok, i took it to the shop today, because my car (88 CRX si with SIR swap) started to bog out when i was going over a bridge. it would like sputter, almost like it was stalling out and rock violently. so, after 500 bucks thrown down at the shop, i drive it for a while tonight and it starts to do the exact same thing it did before. btw, he changed the map sensor out, and fixed a short that i had (frayed reverse light wire) and he also changed the engine coolant temp sensor (not real sure why he changed it, or even why he would have checked it). but now, the engine check light will come on, and i wont be able to rev past like 3250 rpms, and it is REALLY underpowered. the light went off for like 2 minutes, and it was fine, then another jolt came, and it came back on. i get her in the drive way, idling (which by the way is really irractic, jumping wildly between 500 and 900, and sometimes coming very very close to stalling out) and i check the ecu for a code. the led light is just on. not blinking or anything. so i turn the car off, and then back on, and everything is peachy, not check engine light or anything. PLEASE guys, i need ur opinions/ advice on this, i really dont have more money to drop at the shop.

you wont need to pay the shop anything else. take it back and tell them you payed the $500 to fix your problem and its still there.i would check all your wiring and look at what condition your fuel filter is in.then check timing.

Try switching out with a known working ECU.... I would take it back to the shop and tell them to fix it, you spent $500 and the problem is still there, I dont care what the shop says, make them fix it!

my friend did a swap and his ecu light stayed on. turned out to be a ground, in his case it was the thermostat (easily forgoten). make sure you car is properly grounded.
