I can pick up a JDM CTR momo wheel with the airbag in it for a good price....im concerned if this will fit or not and figured some of you JDM guys would know....if it does, what parts are involved or does it just bolt on in place of the stock wheel and hookup to the stock airbag sensor? tia

 

You do need to make some modifications.

I have the same CTR MOMO/SRS S/W. I've encountered the same problems to install it to my DC2. I've contacted CDE many times and other high end shops in the area to fabricate a new hub. No chance there w/o spending some $$$$. On the CTR hub, the key hole run top to bottom, where are the ITR hub runs right to left. The width of the hole is also different. My MOMO has been collecting dust for over a year now in the closet. Here is a picture of the ITR hub, the one I need!!



I'd buy that S/W from the local guy too, just to have a spare. I rather not drive to Winchester though.....

so...this one would in fact be from an ITR and not a CTR (judging by the hub pic on the bottom?)

If he is selling a that same CTR S/W, it has a ITR hub adapter on it. I have the CTR Hub adapter right here and it's not the same.

yeah, winchester aint toooo bad...not for how cheap he's selling it...but im not going to go to any great lengths or cost to install it.....guess not

anyone else interested, theres a guy on clubsi selling one for $200 JDM CTR wheel.....in the NorthEast forum...haha
