Default How much power can a Quaiffe take?

I'm wondering whether a Quaiffe ATB, specifically one for a B16 would survive with some large drag slicks?

We're using the modified B16 ATB diff on an FSAE car with machined gun drilled cut down '00si axles (see there is some honda stuff in here!) The motor is a turbocharged 00' GSX-R 600 with some very trick(secretish) stuff but lets just say that we're closing in on 95HP(remember that FSAE cars have to breathe thru a 20mm restrictor)

We have some drag slicks laying about and were thinking about using them in some acceleration tests. 13000RPM launches anyone? I personally think that the cluch will grenade or our rear suspension would break before the diff but some people are nervous about the mystery of Quaiffe internals and need reassurance.

Thanks for any feedback!

More than eight times the hp you're making.

They do have a lifetime warranty...even when raced! That should provide some comfort

I doubt the lifetime warrenty applies when the casing's been modified. Still this is good to hear, now if only that clutch came with a lifetime warrenty...
