Default what kind of transmission?

Is there a usdm trans that will fit on a B16a1?
I need a cable trans, would one off of an 88-91 LS Integera work?

The serial number on my current (broken) trans is S1-1075154.

No, only 90+ Integra Transmissions are B-Series compatible.

90-93 are cable..The ls/rs/gs are all the same..But if you can find a 92-93 gsr tranny get it..Its great and has short *** gears..

94+are hydro..ls/rs/gs are all the same..Then step up to the gsr..Then the best would be the integra-r tranny...

Also where did you get a b16a1 from..??You know someone in Europe or something?

It's a jdm first gen B16a.

I got it from some place in cali, with a trans that lasted about a month.

Are those trannies direct replacements as far as mounts and axles?

Yeah goes right in..If the axles and haflshaft that you have worked on the b16 tranny perfect,, then they'll work on any of those.

Did you call up the place and tell them whats up//??

I got the engine and trans from nippon motors, which has like a 30 day warranty. The car was in the shop for at least that long, and it just doesn't seem worth it to go through all the hassle of trying to prove that the car wasn't being driven.

So I guess I'm just going to try to find another one at the local Honda junkyard.

I don't know why it went out, I never even got on it, as I was trying to break in the new clutch. One day I went to pull out of the gas station, and it just siezed. They had to drag it up the rollback, because the wheels wouldn't move. There was a half dollar sized hole in the bellhousing, and little pieces were falling out.
