i think all of my motor mounts are ripped, where can i get new ones
everytime i shift or accelerate i can feel the whole car shake. I go and look today and i notice that my mounts are all ripped. The front left, the front bottom mount is missing the rubber insert, the A/C mounts isnt even there, and i think the back tranny mount is also ripped. So i can/should i replace all them with new rubber inserts?Or just buy all new mounts? Also where could i get new mounts from?
Yea, get new mounts. I wouldn't suggest the poyuethane inserts for my own reasons. It is worth the 200$ for new ones. Get an avid racing set. They are under 250 on ebay. I would stick away from enjo, but again... thats just me.
why dont you like poyuethane inserts? i found a set for 35 on ebay. and you think that ill be ok be replacing all the mounts but the A/C one?
I had the poly insert in an accord. It didn't give me the strong solid feeling that i got with the avid set in my civic. You get what you pay for. From the description that you gave on your current mounts, they are shot. The inserts probably would not work to their full potential. Its just my opinion though, the avid set is worth the money, and you get virtually no wheel hop and solid traction.
The ac side mount is not really needed. If you get the avid set, the extra strength of the mounts will support the engine enough to eliminate the need of that mount. Just think, so many people remove that brakcet when they remove their compressor.

It's hard to find mounts for 2nd gen integras these days, people either stopped making them or went out of business.
Check out this thread (they are trying to get JimFab or Hasport to do a run):

Or you can get a set of used Place Racing ones in the DA Classified thread:
Used set of place racing motor mouts. (Perfect condition) 4,000 miles on them. Asking 300 + shipping.

Or go with the poly inserts, it might have to do if you can't wait or can't afford new ones. The OEM ones are pricey, see if you can look em up on acuraparts247.com.
