Recommendations/opinions on tires with long tread life
And yes, I searched.
Alright. Here's the deal. I'm starting to like those Nippon rims that was mentioned in this post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1165638 and am thinking of getting them. Now all I need to do is choose some rubber to go with them. My 90 CRX is my daily driver. Not your typical daily driver but a 1000 mile a week daily driver. I'm not looking for any performance tires where they'll only last me a couple months! I'm looking for something with a long-lasting tread, but that will go well with a hopefully soon-to-be lowered CRX with 15" rims.
During my search on H-T the following tires came up...
Falken Ziex ZE-512s
Yokohama YK420s
Toyo Proxes 4
and some others from the big names of Michelin/Goodyear etc.
Any opinions and/or recommendations? I'm not looking at breaking the bank, but not looking to cheap out and get a set from the local BJs either. The above mentioned tires go for about $70-80 a piece.
Thanks in advance!

I run the Falken's on my DD, I go from Miami to Central Florida once a month + day to day life. I have nothing but good to say about them; the only issue I had with them was the quick wear of the front set, but that was caused by the misalignment of the front end. BTW, you can get them in 205/50/15 for 48$ at http://www.edgeracing.com.
ive got some yokohama parada spec 2 tires and they have lasted about 7 months on my new crx. he had it as a daily driver, and it is mine. barely stored at all.
i really liked the yokohama T4 tires i put on my 13" rims. i got them because theyre so damn cheap, especially 13" size. and for daily driving, i found them more than adequate, i could drive the back roads without much tire squeel as long as i kept the tire pressures up. now again, this is on a 13" rim.
the wear rating is 420. seems like a similar tire to the Yokohama YK420.
check tirerack for better pricing. the H4s/V4s are also cheap, and probably just an updated version of the T4.

I'd have to say Falken. I drive about 6-700 miles a week and they are excellent.
Ive got them on stock crx si wheels and only paid 36 buck a piece.
