DEPENDS, if you can figure out what the other wires are for then connect them. As far as the colors not being right it depends on how hacked up ther wiring was to get the B16 running. You can always go pimp slap the seller?

poor guy
You never want to "guess" with wiring. ever...
Colors wont match because this is not a stock harness anymore, it's been "hacked up" as we professionals like to call it.

So remove your harness, strip it down to a HF/Si harness.
How you ask? should be easy, any wires that look like they dont belong or aren't even loomed into the engine harness.. rip em out and run new ones after you put your stock harness back in.

You'll probably want a VTEC subharness : rywire.com supplys them.
Any wires chillin at the ECU that don't go back to stock plugs, remove them, they'll just get in your way.
You want to start from scratch.

If you've got a DX model, you're probably MPFI converted so don't rip out the new injector wires that may be loose, not just yet anyway.

You'll want to make a connector at the firewall just like all the other plugs for these new wires to go through so you can get the whole harness out like stock. Thats the correct way to do things.

What do you mean? The wires should be a certain color? Who cares what color the wires are man. Source where those wires are coming from. Where are they not connected at? The ECU or the Motor? More details please.

Sounds like a major job for you, a heat gun, soldering iron and a ohmmeter.

Find pinouts and rebuild the harness.
