mini-me turbo?
I currently have the "mini-me" swap in my hatch and i'm thinking of doing a budget turbo. I kept the CX tranny on the car for this purpose. What i'm worried about is in theory the compression is kinda higher on "mini-me" swapped cars. I was thinking about 5-6 psi would be the safe route to go on a completley stock fuel system. what do you guys think? Thanks,

Yeah I was gonna say the compression is much higher on the mini-me's.
This is really a question Bauley Civic can answer, since is running a mini-me turbo. Run a search for threads made by him in this forum.
Though Id imagine running a thicker head gasket would help get more boost.

I thought about a thicker head gasket. I don't know where to order one from though. My other worry is how much boost can a completley stock fuel system handle. I want to do a "junk yard" turbo set up so i'm not looking to go real in depth with this at all.

Well how bout you give us some background info on the motor (i.e. which sohc vtec head, which non-vtec block etc.) then we can work from there... You should buy the gasket for which ever head you have and buy or build all turbo things to specs of the head as well

Been there, done that
I sold my **** thinking I blew my headgasket and I really think it was just the head lifting.
