Default f23 Found Internals, supposed to be good for 25-30psi?

I just bought a brand new f23a4 I found some internals that will stiffen it up a bit and change the compression to 8.5-1 the guy says if I add some eagle rods ($700) to the package I will be able to run 25- 30psi..... i'm also getting a port and polish.
kit comes with:
Complete Gasket Set
Cometic Head Gasket
ROSS/Wiseco Pistons
(86, 86.5, 87, 88mm bore) and
(8.5-1, 9.5-1, 10.5-1, 11.1-1 comp ratio)
Performance Rings
Performance Wrist Pins
TOGA HP Main Bearings
TOGA HP Rod Bearings
Thrust Washers
Timing Belt
Expansion Plugs

I will be upgrading to forged aluminum pistons...
oh and of course i have an aem ems on its way
realistically i'm only going to be running 15-20psi at absolute max.
tell me what u think?

use OEM bearings

I wouldn't go over 15lbs on the stock sleeves. if you did you'd be the first f23 I know of to do it at least

Every car is sleeved if you didnt have sleeves you would have some serious issues... he is saying you need to get aftermarket sleeves because the stock sleeves are not that strong and will crack under higher boost.

i would say use OEM bearings, and get it sleeved just to be safe and not have to do it in the future, i have heard great things about waseco pistons, and i would definately throw in the eagle rods, i would suggest to over bore but not as big as possible stay in between the max bore and what it is now, so you have room to adjust if needed, otherwise it looks like a great setup, have fun and good luck

Cometic does not make head gaskets for F23.

eagle rods are about half of what hes asking.

good idea to sleeve, would be a waste of money have it all built and then get and have a sleeve fail.

eagle does not make rods for the F23, tho I suppose they probably would, custom, if you paid for it...

Crower and Pauter are the only two companies I've heard of that make rods for the F23.

Crower makes them after I got my set about 2+ years ago. go figure. They charge me for custom then when done say why yes we know have those avalible, lol. It always sucks being the first.

Cometic doesn't make on off the shelf but they can custom make one for you in any bore size that you need.

And deff. re-sleeve that motor...

As for bearings if you don't us OEM then IMO the only other option would be ACL. Thats what I'm running in my car and they accutally make the factory bearings.

sweet, I think i will use the oem bearings, everyone says that they are fine. A couple questions.... what bore size did you go to? I think i'm going to stay with 86, maybe a little more... not sure yet, and how about compression? i was going to do the 8.5-1. I'm having all the work done by golden eagle cause they warrenty the block and everything. Also how much boost are u running and for how long? I'm looking for some JE or wiesco pistons... I hear Ross are junk..... Oh yea haha, and one more thing, did u change ur cam?
