ok im ganna be using prs pistons and ls rods on my ls vtec. i was wondering wich head gasket i should use with a turbo or if i wanna put a 50 shot on it. i no stock whould make it 11.5.1 what would it be with a 86mm headgasket and would it be safe. sorry im a noob.

uhhh...first thing is this is the all motor forum. Next thing turbo+11.5cr=BOOM. And lastly is it stock bore or is it 86mm?

 

ye i no its an all motor frum but i didnt think itwould matter bc its ganna be allmotor for a wile any way. but its stock bore plus the thicker head gasket would lower the c/r i was wondering what it would be and if it would be safe to use thanks.

stock bore is 81mm, so I'd imagine that may cause some sealing problems being that you want to use a 86mm HG. If you want to lower comp. get a thicker HG not a larger bore. Stock is .026 so anything thicker than that will yield lower CR

 

ya my bad does any one no how much diffent the cr will be the for a thicker headgasget

 

could you give more info like:
PDH- Dome CC's- Stroke- Bore- Milled?Decked?- High Comp Valves- HG Thickness,etc.
