sometimes the car turns over, other times it doesnt.. right now it doesnt, when i turn the key i can here the fuel pump. if i mess around with the wires on the starter, and play with the little black box the wires run into, it starts sometimes. A long time ago this happend, and the car started everytime DEPENDING on where this box was positioned. wtf is going on?

 

did you ever figure it out ? my car is doing the same thing right now, and i have no clue how to fix it .

 

If you can hear the fuel pump it isn't the main relay. Sounds like a starter issue

 

all the connections good on the starter and underhood fusebox?
