theres cf hood for a CRX for sale locally i was wondering if it would fit my 90 hatch! thanks

 

i tried to put a hatch hood on my crx and it was way too wide.

 

hmmmm

ive been checking around and all the hoods i see say civic/crx so im not sure whether itll fit or not

anyone else have experiance

 

the CRX and Civic hoods are the same

 

the guy said that crx and hatch headlights are the same and that the corner lights and front bumper piece are the only differnences

if this is true it seems like i should have no problem fitting it on

just want some hard evidence that it fits

 

the hoods are the same. I've put CRX hoods on civics and vice versa. the civic wagon is different and maybe the sedan, but I'm not sure.

The lenses are the same but the buckets are different.

Hatch and CRX hoods are identical. No difference. I had an '89 Civic Si hood on my CRX for almost a year.

corner lights are different for rex hatch and 4 door
but the hoods are the same for hatch and crx

 

yes i know for a fact it'll fit, i selll alot of carbon fiber hoods and all the crx hoods fit they box body hatches

 

will not work (the crx hood will not work on and 88-91 hatch or the other way around )

Funny, I have done it and it does work.
If you say it didnt fit was it upside down? and if its to wide turn it the right way

 

umm my dad has a hatch hood on now my buddy had a hatch hood on his rex.

so yea it works

done it with my buddys CRX to Civic. its the same hood for both cars.

Look up the Honda part # for both hoods, they are the same part.

haha this guy, wait a minute the lines on my 91 crx hood don't fit on my 88 CRX. What do i do!?

Look the same? Guess what: That's because it is the same hood.

 

its the 4dr civic hood that is not interchangeable and maybe the wagon

but 4dr for sure

Correct, wagon and sedan hoods are not interchangeable with each other, with hatchbacks, or with CRXes.
