Default Another question about wiring vtec

I was reading about this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=919292 and was just wondering,instead of removing the ecu pinouts,can i just splice the wires.Removing the pinouts is a realy PITA

really isnt a pain in the ***... i did it it took like 20 minutes to hook up v-tec in my hatch..if u want to do it half *** u can splice...DO IT RIGHT...

i just wanna know why ud do a cob job on ur own car maybe a friends car... not even... to each is his own i guess... i feel better after doin a job right ....

uve supplied ur self with a thread with a write up.. follow the instructions and ull be alright..

u peel back teh little plastic piece and push the other end with a screwdriver...
