It was the first good weather day in about a week, so me (EJ1), Pat (EJ6) and Scott(Escort) decided to go to a parking garage to take some pics. Sorry if they are not the best quality, but it was first time taking pics at night in a garage, so I have to learn (suggestions are appreciated).

assuming the escort is @ stock boost, it is about 200hp. the engine is a 1.8L bpt, which comes out of the jdm mazda 323.

 

^^^I think he is boosting the stock GT motor which would put him at the 175-180 range max. With a better intercooler and some tuning he could be running those #'s in WHP.

You are correct, it is the stock GT motor with a JDM turbo. He just ordered a JDM ECU to correct some of his tuning issues, so hopefully it will be running better soon.

 

The only reasoi thought jdm, ws he is runnig the mazda valve cover and the vj20 it the turbo on the BPt engine, aka the GTX.
