i have some oil in my breather filter which is connected to a 1" long tube right to the valve cover. It doesnt poor it it just seems collect oil in the filter part and drips down occasionally... i just did a comp test and i got good numbers.. my car is na. I tried searching and people are saying its from bad piston rings.. blow-by. How is that it doesnt make sense to me??
no its not blowby.
You have and want oil in your valvetrain. Cams spinning fast are gonna shoot oil everywhere, especially in VTEC. Some of it will come out of that breather.
I have a hose going to the ground, no filter or anything like that.
My friend has a H22 prelude drag car, had a hose going to the ground like mine but he was really shooting oil onto the track and the officials were pissed! He has since installed a catch can.
