alright u...the owner of that corvette-eating civic/teggy...how do u afford insurance on that beast??? my cousins convinced that a turbo/blueprint/new cam would shoot his insurance sky high. i say what they dont know wont hurt em...whos right here?

 

well, what they don't know doesn't hurt them, but what they don't know they won't cover, usually. so if you total your car, they'll only replace it with what a stock one is worth.

Plus, if you have one of those, you'll probably get tickets, which obviously raise your insurance.

 

I would want them to cover everything

 

what you do is sign up for full coverage and dont tell them about any modifications done.take pictures of every thing after you get insurance.if anything happends to your car like it gets stolen or anything, you tell them that all the mods were just completed and you have not contacted them yet to let them know.since you have pictures they know you are not bull shiting them and will be more willing to pay out.
