Default Volk GT-7 and Tenzo Drivex-7 comparisons

Alright guys I know you cant compare the two because Volk is King and Tenzo is Genaric but all the money I got is from the tax refund. I love the volk GT-7 but like who can afford it, yeah yeah if you guys could good for you, dam I wish I was rich.

Anyways from looks, is their any big difference like colors, smoothness, or shinyness. The tenzo ads I bet used a filter to make the wheels all shiny but I'm just not sure because I've never seen in person. So here's two pics and tell what you guys think, and I'm getting the tenzo regardless of how bad tenzos are.

Volk.....aahhhhgggghhhhh(drooling)

Tenzo's.......good enough for a cheap baster like me

Comments welcome and flames welcome too.

Its a pretty good copy, but the finish on the Volk looks sooo much nicer. You can just tell the quality difference. But then agains thats why you can get 4 Tenzos for the price of 1 Volk. If you live in a high-theft area or are just looking for something temporary, then go for it.

I personally thought many many times about getting knock-offs but just decided to save for another 2 months so I could get my TE37's. Aside from the fact that they're light as hell (and bling as f*ck), they hold their resale value soo much better than knock-offs.... and I know im mental but I couldnt bring myself to drive around with fake wheels.

I know, dam I'd never be proud to tell people I got some TENZO's....haha i use to always make fun of them............oh get some tenzo intake and you'll make 100hp lol.

but money is money and it's better than nothing. Maybe one day but not today.

Anyone actually seen a knock off GT-7 on the streets, I hope it's bling.

center caps are different
the holes in the rim edge are different
the spokes don't have as much of an edge on teh volks
of course, the shiny signature volk lip
and i'm pretty sure the build quality will be different; forged volk vs. cast tenzo

if you actually considered getting the tenzos in black the wheels will probably look a lot better.

Have you thought about R1's? if you were trying to find affordable wheels theres tenzo's and R1 wheels that are probably the only wheel that are the most similar to the GT-7

i heard you can even use the volk center caps on these

R1, Tenzo, Yahoo, it doen't matter as long as it looks close to it. Money is an issue you know.

I've seen a lot of Fake Volk TE37 that dont even look right thats why I'm asking . I dont know but looking at the spokes seems like the shape and thickness is different. Or maybe I'm just baise. The volk picture always look better huh.

somebody switch the image and dont tell me and lets see how i react.

Hello,

I just bought these rims for my wife's car for valentine day (ah how sweet) LOl and I was debating on what to buy...I liked the gt-7's and came across these rims at gruppe-S (www.gruppe-s.com) for $1400 brand new in the boxes and size 18x7.5 and 18x8(r) with a sweet 50mm offset (s2k and accord) with a staggered fitment.....love it! This rpice was for 18's with caps and lugs. Just the caps could go for $110-$130 and the lugs go for $90-$110 and they threw it in for $1400 total....the tenzo's are nice but copies and if you;re going to invest in your car, you might as well get what you really want....my opinion. U can come across new or used volks for a lot cheaper than just ordering it through a shop and waiting months to arrive here. I would just not rush it and save a few more hundred bucks and get the real deal....u can't compare volks to r1's and tenzo's besides the look alike appearance....the craftmanship, finish, weight, and , overall clean appearance....

here's the pictures of my girl's car and the rims.....and also random pictures I saved of the volk gt-7's

i had a choice between the "VOLK" caps for $110 for all four(4) or get the "VR" caps for free with the package, which one would you of picked up? keep in mind it wasn't for me, but for my girl's car.....only $2 grand to spend and i still needed tire $$$....that's why....

I still say save your money and get the real thing. I love mine :

I wouldn't put them on a Civic or Integra though.
