brake booster and master cylinder question
i have done the 5 lug conversion to my 96 civic hatch and i cant find the thread that i read a long time ago.
wich integra master cylinder and booster can i order for the 1" mastercylinder and not have to rebend lines? i was pretty sure that i wouldnt have to re-bend lines.
also, if i do have to re-bend lines, how do i know wich lines go where?

For best results use the 1inch mc from any 98+ integra. Use that BB as well. You will have to bend 1 line. There are two lines that feed into the mc, one will bolt up to your line no problem, the other will be on the other side of the mc, you just need to bend that line to make it fit. No biggie, you can actually bend the line with your hand, just go slow and be careful.
The problem is this: For the line that you have to bend, your hard line fitting will be too small for the mc socket. You'll need to order the appropriate fitting from Acura. I've been to 7 auto parts stores and no one has the correct thread pitch. Acura doesn't just sell the fitting, you need to buy the whole line, ~$45. Or, go to a junkyard and maybe you'll get lucky.

i got my master cylinder in today. it looks like it'll just bolt up. i just gotta see for sure if i'll need another fitting for the end. but i know where some integra's are at so it shouldnt be to hard to get
thanks for replying. using the search here on HT is weird.

Just FYI, if you can't find any junked teg's you can use the fitting from an Acura Legend. I was at the junkyard looking for this piece, they had no tegs so I searched around and that one looked big enough. It works. I guess TL's might work too.
i still got a bunch of fittings from my accord. i hope these will fit
.
i didnt even get to try yet cause im swamped at work
