Is there a right way to roll fenders?
My friend is basically giving me a super rare set of 16x9 jdm guiiles...I would use a bat but I think I need a more extreme type of roll to make these beasts fit..oh yeah there like 35 offset
Thanks in advance

yeah 16x9 is hella wide with a 35 mm offset. it might looks hella ugly because the wheel would stick out too far, but good luck with it. i would suggest a bat, dont really know of any other way of doing it unless you wanna replace the whole fender but then you cant replace the rear fender.
a +35 will NOT stick out to far. When wedsports sa90 first came to the states it was a +35 and everyone was drooling over the set on my car when it was black. Dont listen to the haters....and Yes there is a fender rolling tool. you rin cali so you should be able to find a shop that has one. I know wheelchoice sells them or used to anyways.

I rolled my supra's fenders because of the super offset i have. 28 rear and 35 front. Rolling my fenders wise, i took my car to a reputable shop. They did my fenders for $60 for front and 60 for the rear. You just need to watch out for scratching and peelingof the paint. YOu MUST MUST MUST use a low heat ( heat gun or hair dryer) to virtually heat up the paint and clear coat to keep it from cracking. Using a top quality roller is always good too!
All in all, i have had some ricer honda buddies try to roller their fenders by themselves...and it LOOKED HORRIBLE. Take your prized posetion to a shop, preferably a body shop that does this type of work on a regular basis. Its saves you the time/money/headache of it all.
I would spend my $120 all over again if i had to. It took them 2 hours total for all 4 corners. very tedius, but to get the best results PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE
