after i drop my zc motor in my crx. i just used my dc headers that came from my crx. but the thing is that the exhaust ports doesnt match. do you think blocking the exhaust ports and not flowing out smoothly could rob me of my horse power. please let me know if this will make a different if i port it out and make it an even flow.

 

Port it. It can only help if you make the ports match up evenly.

 

just port them yourself it is easy just use a dye grinder

 

You need to port match it. The ZC exhaust ports are about 3mm higher. If you dont port it your exhaust gases will slam into the side of the header like they are hitting a wall. This will cause poor performance.

 

How about if I'm using a 98 DX manifold with close coupled cat?
