my hatchback is going to get painted soon. i would like to remove the rear side window moldings before it gets sprayed. i am curious if i can remove these moldings and then put them back on no problem? or maybe buy new ones. main thing is , do i have to take the window out also? thanks

i know to get the windows out you use a razor blade.

 

i just got mine back from paint and i just pulled the molding off and then taped the off the window. I was going to just put the old ones back in but i'm going to buy new ones its worth it.
