you will probably need to fabricate appropriate velocity stacks.
If you have a chipped ECU already, you should wander your *** over to PGMFI.org and check out Crome and its ITB Tools.

Rice4life got his working with a vafc. but it's running much better now with Crome. at least you can look into it. you can even add full throttle launch and some more things.

Regarding velocity stacks. Buy some spun aluminum stacks for a Weber 48 IDF carb, weld them to the throttle bodies and then port match them.
The VAFC lacks the ability to fine tune the maps which is almost a necessity when dealing with ITB's. Also, the VAFC has virtually nothing to deal with part throttle tuning.
Crome 1.1.2 will save you money versus the VAFC and will allow you to take advantage of fuel maps that run solely off of the TPS under certain load conditions, allowing you to fine tune the setup even more, and will help minimize the effects of temperature and humidity while the car is running under heavy load. It's a brilliant program. I daily drive my car with ITB's tuned on Crome 1.1.0 (first release with the ITB tools) and I'm quite happy with it.
