Default *HELP* Type of Metal for Carbon Coated Synchros?

I'm looking into purchasing some GM Syncromesh and wanted to know if the carbon coated synchros fall into the yellow metal category? Below is the description from the Pennzoil Syncromesh bottle of what types of metals it is safe for.

It provides excellent oxidation stability, low temperature performance, excellent synchronizer performance and compatibility with yellow metals, such as bronze, brass and copper components found in manual transaxles and transmissions."

Thanks
