Hey guys, I recently had my ignition wires stolen (and they were the cheap $30 pepboys OEM ones ). Anyways I looked at my Hanes manuel and I hooked it up in the order it shows, but my car wouldn't start, and looking on the internet at pictures it looks like it may be different that what the book says, but I couldn't be for sure. So here is the order it shows in the book

distributer order: (looking from passenger side of vehicle)

Cylinder order: (From front of vehicle)

Does that make sense to everyone? If you could please go look at your Teg and confirm the order I would be eternally gratefull!!

 

im not a smart man, but all the wires should be different length, the shortest should be on the cylinder closest to the distributor, longest on the on farthest away

That's it, firing order is 1-3-4-2, so when the dist. rotor is rotating around (clockwise in this diagram), it will go 1 to 3 to 4 to 2.

they is correct. make sure if the car doesnt start that your ignitor coil is in good shape
