Default Who's bought Millenia Wheels for track/autox?

I never thought it would be such a pain to find some Millenia 9-spokes for autocross (DS)! I just drove 20 minutes to a local salvage yard, scoped out four decent wheels and the best price I could get the guy to do was $100 a wheel. Granted they were clean, but still think $200-250 is not unreasonable for a set without center caps.

How much have you guys paid for these wheels if you don't mind me inquiring?

$100 per wheel??? That's pretty expensive. I saw some a little while ago for around $200 for all four. I'd wait--I'm sure you'll be able to get a better deal than that.

I can email my friend who's R was stolen from Microsoft last month. He's got these wheels with fresh R compounds on them. I'm sure he'd let them go for cheap. Just send me an IM.

I found a few stunna's on this board who were happy to sell their stock wheels for cheap.

http://forums.mazdaworld.org/

Don't offer more than $150 for all 4 and of course start lower than that.

Now if I only had the cash for the rubber.

I've bought 3 sets in the last 2 years. You can get them from several E-Bay merchants (gwrench3 and rswheels are their handles I think) for about $80 per wheel for a set of 4 (but add in shipping to that). That's the most I paid. I also bought one set privately for $200. So $50 - $100 each delivered is what I would expect.

I bought mine out of a local junkyard for $150 for the whole set. It was $40 each wheel with the centercaps, and one wheel was missing the cap so they gave me ten bucks off on it. I even got to rock a set of stock Millenia tires on my car for a couple of days and have all sorts of fun rubbing issues.

I had trouble finding Millenias for a price I wanted to pay, and ended up buying 929s from Jetydosa for a much better price. They're .5 lbs heavier than Millenias, but still much better than stock. I actually had somebody ask me if they were the JDM ITR wheels.

I've runa set of those for quite a while, great wheel for the price. I got mine from a former ITR owener who sold them to me for $400 mounted with Kumho V700's.

BTW, those wheels are included with the sale of my car...

Who wants to be the first one to learn an important life lesson: "Don't buy used wheels from rally car drivers"

Just kidding Rene.

Yeah egay's usually a lost cause.
I found a place in "Grover" NC that will sell me four for $200 shipped or picked up for $150. Turns out Grover is past Charlotte and Gastonia. Hell, I might drive there to get them anyway to avoid being ripped off. I wish the place in Knightdale would just lemme have the set for $200

Anyone who wants a set at the expo, let me know. I will sell my black 9 spokes for $200 to the first offer.
