Default tach/hazard question.

maybe someone knows how these circuits work..

my tach and warning lights in the cluster will stop working...turning the hazards on and back off fixes it..

any ideas why?

that odd because you hazards work independent of the tach. the only thing they interact with is your turn signals.

yup, if you take out your hazard switch the only thing that will be affected is you wont have any turn signals. im sorry i cant help more. i would take off the column cover and start looking around with a voltameter. maybe some were along the harness some wires melted together or grounded out and its causing some funk interference. i to have a had some bad problems with gauge clusters. i havent had any lights in there for over a year.

when it goes weird.. the gauge lights are the only things that do work. the warning lights(seatbelt, brake, etc) go out along with the tach. maybe its a bad ground.. or something.

the best thing to do, is pull the cluster and start loking around for any bad conections.
