gsr cams in b16 head
i have some gsr cams/springs/valves and was wondering if there would be any significant difference if i put them in my b16. i have an ls block that i plan on doing lsvtec with and turbo in hopefully near future. i have jun cam gears that i plan on using, just wondering which cams to put them on.

The B16A1 cams are the weakest B series cams made. GSRs are slightly better than the A2s. It wouldn't hurt to run the GSRs, although I would recommend a set of CTR cams if you plan on keeping it OEM.

should i make any other changes to the engine or ecu? will i need a gsr timing belt? i know there will be more to it than taking out the old cams and putting in the new ones ... what all will i have to do?

It's a direct swap, you can use your B16 timing belt. Also that's all there is to it...just taking out the B16 cams and dropping in the GSR's

..mainly the cams out of auto 1st B16's are really really really amusing to look at
GSR cams are worthy upgrading to, they'll give you a little more torque over any generation of B16A cams. Of course Type-R cams are choice over any of the OE VTEC B-series cams.
