Default 10 pt cage in a street S2000

We just picked up my friends S2000 from the chassis shop. Done at Chassis Evolution of Long Island. Motor is in the process of getting built and custom rear diff. here are some sneak pics. the car has already gone 12.0 @114 on nitto drag radials and stock motor with a full race turbo kit.

Does the bar on the side that supposed to line up with your shoulder and follow your arm all the way down to the steering wheel actually line up with it? It looks low, and they'll fail you for it.
