This is why you use a metal hood with the skeleton modified, or a '90-91 JDM style hood. The car was never intended to have a B18C fit in it.

oh well my hood was totally fucked and the vis hood looks alright i just got to put spacers on mounts. One day. The springs are being changed when I get more time and can afford new rear shocks. And I like fat fives. That is just a personal opinion.
I bought some ground controls but I wanted new shocks before i put them on. Yeah I dont think it would have mattered what hood I put on the car it would still have clearance issues without cutting or modifing with washers. The thing that made me stunned is i always though the clearance issues was the driver side but on my car it seems to be the pasenger side.

next time you should try washing the car, and the appearance forum.
some advice, try putting some washers on the underneath of that driver side mount, and shave some of the skeleton from the hood. Why dont you post some pics of the motor.

according to them pics the problem with clearance looks like driver side. i would be scared of hood flying up hitting winsheild. or splitting in 2 then flying away.
have you tried to trim the hood? i have a b17 w/ hasport mounts and a vis hood... had to trim a small section to make it all clear... took 2-3 minutes.

wow. PA the hood is a usdm vis jspec hood.
Second **** washing it the car wasnt meant to be pretty it was meant to be driven. Through snow, on the track, and daily driven. What the point of washing the car when what it really needs is a paint job. I figured if it dont look good at least its fast. And the hood wont come up and split. Personally you could pry on that bitch all day and it wont come up. Im loving all the feed back.

and im being misuderstood i said JDM SiR style hood. thats a jspec ZC hood which is no different than usdm but the hump. not the raise middle SiR. vis makes a USDM SiR style and an OEM JDM SiR hood. you wont have clearance issues with this hood.
