This has got to STOP!!!
Every time I get out of my Teg, it shocks the living CRAP out of me. I have checked the ground on the engine, but someone said that there is another ground on the transmission. Where can I find/check this ground!
Please Help! Its like a small form of torture everytime I get out of my car. Usually after I step out, I'll close the door with my elbow to absorb the shock a little bit....but if I forget and touch the car with my fingers....ZAPPP!!
Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance!

you can put one of the original rice trends on your car, the ground strap.
supposedly that does something or something and you don't get shocked.

This probably has more to do with the climate and what kind of clothes you're wearing. Dry climate and rough clothes will make you a static electricity generator. If you don't want to get shocked, hold your key and touch the tip of the key to some metal on the car and let the key take the shock. Do this at night, and you'll be able to see the arc going from key to car!
As someone said earlier, I also think it's static electricity.
Spray some anti-static on the seat if your seats aren't leather.
As you leave your car, reach out and touch the outside door handle
as you stand up.
