Default ls tranny shift at high rpm

im running a lsv w/ ls tranny for now and just put my bc3+ on it. when revving it to 8.5 it wont shift right away and when you wait about a couple seconds it will go in good. when i have the gsr cams it, it was fine shifting at that high. dose anyone have any problem? is it just the tranny? do i need a vtec tranny instead?

How are your motor/torque mounts? I was having the same issue as you at high RPMs. When I took my driver's side mount on, the rubber was hanging in there for dear life. After I installed some inserts, my shifting is much, MUCH better.

Maybe your engine is rocking back & forth more than before.
