The most beautiful day of the year. Sunday, high close to 60, Sunny, a lil windy, but perfect. Was on my way to wash and clean the teg for the first honda-tech meet of the year. Just got everything running on the car not too long ago (aka Turbo, Fuel Managment, etc). It was a whole new car.

Just leaving my neighborhood when out of nowhere this 70 year old man from the oncoming traffic turns left in front of me...locked up my brakes and BOOM! T-Boned the guy. Everyone ended up okay...went to the hospital and ****...my neck and back hurt but its normal from this type of accident.

The guy had no idea i was there. Never even looked before he turned.

Cops were really nice to me. They said i had nothing to worry about. They gave the 70 year old man that turned in front of me two tickets and told me it was all his fault. No tickets issued towards myself as of yet. Only a possible speeding ticket but i doubt i was speeding at all.

I was going about 35-40mph before i slammed on the brakes so prob hit around 25mph and this is the damage...







Im not sure what is happening with the car but im going to be stripping everything out and seeing what i can salvage.

Looking for a new Integra...maybe another ssbp teg because i just love that color...but now im looking for a new car all because of some old fart. Some old people just cant drive and this is why they shouldnt be on the road!

yeah I am so pissed...this all happened this morning so im sitting here and my neck hurts pretty bad and what was suppose to be an awesome day turned into a terrible day.

Just got the turbo running like 2 weeks ago and havent driven it much...it was pretty damn quick and it wasnt even tuned yet

i hate to see these threads.its kinda a wake up call. all this money and time we spend on our cars and it can be gone that quick, if that happened to me, id probably cry

 

same type of thing happened to me , but two people died.

it's a shame how old people who can't even pass an eye exam are still on the roads , something needs to happen.

Take their license away if they can't pass a eye test , in return they get a life time bus pass.
