HOMEMADE Rota Slipstreams or Spoons
should have sanded or sandblasted the wheel first, then a light grey or similiar primer, then the final coat. Maybe a clear coat as well. i myself used the rustoleum metal gunmetal finish. Also, take your time masking the tire next time.

I did scuff them up with a 320 grit sand paper. took me about an hour to get all four wheels scuffed up pretty good. and i dont have a sandblaster. if i did i woudl of done that. but hey the i spent all together 25 bucks doing this. thats the 4 wheels and 2 cans of spray paint + Clear coat. they mite not look that shiny because they were painted flat black. and taping it really good? i dont have all day when i work 40+ hours a week and school. my ghetto *** duck tape would do. didnt get no paint or on the tires soo. yeah im a lazy *** so what? i got them done. and they probably going to end chipping from rocks or whatever. oh well someone already offered me $200 bucks for them!! yeah!! awesome!

go get some aircraft remover in a spray can, hit them with that and it will take off all the clear. Then sand and paint and they will look 100x better IMO...not flaming, just trying to help.
actually, that dont look too bad, i always see those 20-50 dollar sets of rims at the yard and never picked up a set.
its a different look and i think its pretty cool. everybody rolls the slipstream or group n style rims now. no originiality...all the power to u mang
go find the name of those rims

no time and no money is no excuse of bad taste.
if you don't have the time to do it right, then don't do it. if you don't have the money to do it right, then don't do it. you don't HAVE to mod your car. a clean STOCK car is thousands times better than a cheaply and poorly modded one.

dude why u ragging on the guy for doing his thing. the fad now is stock this, oem that, jdm this, wth if it looks good, and u like it, all the power to u to roll it. if u're still into kits, go for it, and so forth
rims are 90% personal preference, just cuz u dont like the style doesnt mean other ppl dont

it isnt perfect, but its done. it isnt done right, but its better then steelies.some people have a life to worry about like me who have to wake up 6 in the morning everyday to get their day started. i'm not no person who has a whole week to get rims painted. scuff+paint=call it a day.

I agree with the first statement…….to a point.
“a clean STOCK car is thousands times better than a cheaply and poorly modded one” A 1000% true!!!!
About riding around on steelies.......steelies on a sleeper are the ****!!!
I’m willing to bet the steelies are much lighter then most of the wheels people put on there Civic. Heavy wheels rob H.P.
