*HELP* OIL IN SPARK PLUG AREA~!!
my brother and me share a car to drive so we dont have to put too many miles on our del sol's, yea sol's as plural we both own 1. However it randomly died one day while driving, first i check the spark plugs, when i pulled the wires all 3 cylinders looked clean however 1 of them has like 1" of oil sitting in it, it seems its leaking oil into the cylnder spark plug area and thats probably killing the spark which makes the car die right after it starts or sometimes not start at all, ill try to take a pic tomarrow but i described it exactly how it is
what causes this?
what needs to be replaced?
how expensive can this be?
its a 88 or 89 acura integra, dohc, w/130k miles, car was never *NEVER* driven hard sense we've owned it, a girl owned it before us but weve had it sense around 50k miles, id like to get this running again so i can avoid so many miles on my del sol driving to work
thanks guys, i appreciate it

i just searched sense the search is back and working agian and found that more then likely i have to replace the
cover gasket/spark plug tube seals
do i just have to pull the valve cover to change these? or do i have to pull the head completly to do this?
im sure autozone sells these and im gonna pick it up tomarrow and try and get it fixed, ill let you know how it goes
You prolly just need the spark plug tube gromets/seals. The valve cover gasket is prolly OK. The oil will leak down the threads and foul out the plug, I think that is definatly your problem.
ok, ill start by just replacing the seals/garmets but the valve cover seal is cheap anyways so might as well replace it either way

Paid 20 bucks for the whole valve cover seal kit with the plug seals, valve cover seal, and top bolt grommets

it is recommend to change the grommets and the valve cover seal at the same time so that one doesnt sit higher than the other. They must settle evenly for a proper seal. The set is pretty cheap and everyone makes them.
