Default 5th Gen wheel offset ???

I was wondering if there were any 5th gen owners that had this wheel & tire combination ???

18" x 7.5" wheels with +45 offset & 215/35/18 tires

If so i was wondering how it was if i was to lower the car 2".
____Will it rub the wheel well ??
____How big is the tire to fender gap ??
____Will the front tires rub the fender when i turn the steering wheel the whole way to one side ??

18's are too big....those are low profiles so, i dont think theyll rub...the wheels will be tucked, but itll look kinda stupid IMO

On my 4th gen i had 17" x 7" with +42 offset & 215/45/17 tires. it was ok, but i wanna get a lower pro tire.

What would be the ideal size wheel & tire ?

35 is like a rubber band around your rim. get some 215/40/18. im running 225/40/18 with a +42 offset with about a 2'' drop.

not too big, doesnt rub, isnt tucked, and looks great for daily driving/cruising. i have 15'' ITR rims for spare/lighter rims.

i have 225/40 R18 tires. 1 finger gap in front zero in the rear

front tires rub esp when i go up an incline. folded the fenders in a bit.

its def heavier then stock but its just about the same diameter as a 15'' rim with 195/60/15 tires. dont notice much loss in gass mpg

dont know the exact drop since I have coilovers. as I said 1 finger gap in the front and zero (even out) in the rear. with this drop the tires ate the plastic cowls under the front fender.

and by the way im getting 27-28 MPG

i think its between the Rota GRid in 16x7 Royal Steel grey, and the RS limited Concept Pro Gunmetal with polished lip, which i know for sure fits my car. The Rota i'd get from the groupbuy here for 500 shipped, and the RS limited i can get from wheelmax for 760 shipped with tires, so right now the wheelmax deal is looking good.

I still need to know what the correct offset # is for a 16x7 wheel for my accord.

thanks again guys...now i just found out that the Rota Grid isnt being made in the offset for the accord, so thats not happening, so i dont know. I guess its gonna be the RS limited wheels, either that or a different rota wheel, but i can only see myself getting the circuit 8's.

ok this is it, Rota Circuit 8 wheels, in 4x114.3 with a 40 offset. THe finish is bronze with a polished lip. 16x7.

now i just have to make sure a 205/50/16 will fit...without rubbing.

If you want to know if a tire will fit check out tires.com or tirerack.com they will give you "recomended" sizes for a specific car with a larger or smaller than stock wheel size

225/40/18, no finger gap, 43 offset no rubbing unless it's a nasty bump. i still have perfect fender linings and didn'tnotice a change in gas. just that it's alot slower
