I've had it with my exhaust leaking between my cat and exhaust manifold because of the crappy engineering of those !@#$ing spring bolts. I paid some money for my exhaust and it sounds like complete ***. To make things worse, one side of the flange on my cat leans away from the EM so as to make the bolt fitment crappy at best. At this point I say **** the enviroment as what good is a cat that only a fraction of the air goes through? Now for my question, is the Omnipower test pipe fitment absolutely PERFECT? I'm done with shitty products, I want it to fit at go in without so much frustration.

On a sidenote, it pisses me off that I live in a world that I can't come on and ask for someone to come over to help with it (I know somebody would come help) for the fear of making my car more likely to be stolen, this world sucks.

 

on my teg, i put the jdm 4-1 on and it was either leaving the extra middle piece causing it to push my exhaust or removing it and being too short.. so i had to cut an inch off the middle piece. so omnipower fitment sucks

a good exhaust shop can fix your problem if you keep your cat (most won't touch a car with a test pipe). Have you tried a flex pipe instead of the spring bolts?

 

Are you talking about the donut gasket between the exhaust downpipe (possibly "B pipe") and the (front of the) Cat? If so, you should replace the donut gasket ($15-16) and spray some copper adhesive on it.

Apply washers if needed to the spring bolts to bring the contact points closer together, if necessary.
