i just bought a 94 integra that i am rebuilding. i will be driving the hell out of this thing. sometimes 900 miles a week. the problem that i have is that i have chronic elbow/shoulder/wrist problems in both arms. i need to move the steering wheel maybe 2 inches closer to me when i am driving so i dont have to reach so far. i drove it around town for about an hour the other day and i was hurting afterwards. not much fun. the driving position in my civic is near perfect and i have few problems with it. does anybody make a steering wheel extender for the civic/integra? i have looked into buying an aftermarket steering wheel but then i lose the airbag and cruise control buttons. cruise control is nice for all of the highway driving i will be doing. are there any aftermarket steering wheels that let you keep the cruise control? i can live without the airbag if i have to. can anybody help?
