How do I achieve the 50/50 mix ratio on the radiator coolant?
drain your coolant system...
find out how much it holds
add half water
half coolant
Dont worry, that was one of the first car questions I asked

Actually, not quite right. It doesn't all drain out, sometimes there's a quart or 2 still in there.
Look up in the specs or manual for how many quarts in the cooling system. Buy enough anti-freeze for half that...
Drain. Fill with water, run. Drain. Repeat a couple times to rinse out the system.
Now when you drain, what's left is water. Pour in the correct amount of anti-freeze. Add water until it's full. I like to use distilled water.

Take one part coolant and one part distilled water; hence 50/50 mix.
I would recommend to go with Honda coolant, and it is already 50/50 so all you need to do is to dump it into the radiator.
