Default skunk 2 manifold?

i have a skunk2 manifold for my b16 head before i put it on i want to know if its worth porting it. i also heard i could loose power from this and was told these manifolds suck.?

my setup:
b20b/vtec

b20z internals (machined for vavle clearence)
new oem vavles
skunk2 vavle train
skunk2 stage 2 cams
aem adjustable cams
port and polished head/milled
dc header
act clutch/lighten fly wheel
aem fuel rail/regulator
p28 w/ type r chip

also wondering if i should use my type r ecu chip or update for this setup?

I dont see why you couldnt use it. I have a skunk 2 manifold on my b18c1 and love it. I wouldnt even bother with the chipped p28. Id go for something along the lines of hondata.

i know that the gsr intake manifold doesnt flow that well and the skunk2 manifold helps alot on the gsr head, i was just wondering if it was the same for a b16 head..

i got the manifold for a 100 brand new so i couldnt beat that.

Skunk2 IM do well but I have seen Del Sol B16 IM produce better powerbands

got a skunk2 im on my itr head and it works better than the oem im i find. i hear that if you dont have something like hondata you will have problems but i already had my s200 installed so no problems for me.
