Im buying 5 gsr maincaps, the girdle, windage tray, oil pan, and the oil pickup. Im installing it on my 95 B18B LS block. What all am I going to have to do to put it in. I know im going to have to get the mains honed but anything else?

come on theres gotta be someone that can help me out here.

 

Bring your parts to the machine shop.They will check the size and make the necessary adjustments before they hone it.

Have the shop your using give you a price.Should be less than $200.

See the deal is, im trying to see if I can save money buying the one I found from a GSR setup, or buying the golden eagle kit. Dont you have to dowel the stock one or something?

If you get all the gsr parts,then all that has to be done is fit them to the block and align hone them.
