Default B18 series B20 series Question!

Ok I have a B18C1 as of right now! The mileage is still ok im sitting at 127***, My main question is how long should I wait before getting a new motor? From what I hear a B20 is better than a B18? Is this true? What series are there in a B20 and what is the fastest and will it sit nicely in a 95 GSR?

go with the long block b20 for the lowend tourqe. then later you can slap on a vtec head for those killer time slips.

stick with the b18c1. just give it a re-build when it starts going bad. dont fix things that aren't broke.

any b-series can be just as fast as anyother. dont let people tell you ones better, they're all the same when built.

couldn't have put it any better. just stick with a motor that is from factory Vtec instead of trying to make a b20/vtec. a b16a2, b18c1, or b18c5 would be a lot more reliable and plus u can still mod it to be quicker and have more torque.

But if u insist of the b20/vtec lets look at it this way... the block about 600 bucks, b18c1 head 600ish bucks, building the block so it don't go boom when u take it over 7k about another 2k... ur just better off either rebuilding ur c1 or just buying a new c1 or c5..

Why don't you buy a b20 block start building up the bottom-end, while you're doing that you will have a motor in your car. Once you finish your bottom-end start doing some work to the head of your gsr, when your done pull the C1 slap the head on the b20 block then you have a more powerful motor.

Could I do the same with the C5 if I bought 1?
