you may not like it, but what he said is true. If you want a better return for your money, you have to take some of the parts off and sell them seperately.
You probably won't get more than $5,000 to $6,000 for your teg.
If you sell off a lot of the extras, leaving the motor swap in the car...you'll probably still get around $5,000.
If you sell the b18c1 motor swap and replace it with an LS setup, you could get $3500 to $4200.
So see how selling parts off will bring you more money.

 

yeah parting it out and selling the car with stock parts would get you the most money. take out the B18c5.. sell it for about 3-4g and put a LS motor in there for like 800-1000.. and you got 2-3 grand in your pocket.. and sell the car stock for 4,000 or around there.. and you'll have 6-7,000.. not counting the other after-market parts. the after market parts would get you atleast another 1000 so you'll have 7-8000. which is more then what you can sell the car as is for..

i wouldnt part it out unless you can swap engines or have someone that will do it for free.. labor would make it not worth it.... you might be able to find someone who will do it for free

*edit: Though if you do part it out, I got first dibs on that SCI ignition and external coil w/wires.

i dont want to part it out. thats more work than its worth, plus id hate to ruin what ive spent so much time putting together. furthermore i have NONE of the sock parts because the car started kinda bare.. thanks ayways everyone..

 

well...if you dont have the stock parts....post it online for trade for stock and plus cash or somethin...might take a little longer then you want to hold the car for but you'll get a little bit more money out of it...If not then i dont think if it was me i would pay much more then what KBB say it's worth even if it's hella parts on the car...good luck...

i agree with that cant do much else if ur not lookin to part out etc. GL post on H-T ppl know the real value of a car on here ( thats not a good thing for me though, cuse ima be lookin to buy a gsr soon )
