VTEC engagement point advice
i'm sure most of you have seen my post about my setup..
So here's my first question.. Now with this skunk2 intake manifold Where do i set my vtec..
As most of you know When you lose a GS-R manifold you lose your IABs(secondaries).. On a USDM B18C p72 ecu my vtec engages at 4500.. My secondaries are usually engaged around 5600-5700, With this new manifold where should i set my vtec now.. i like it low..however i want the MAX HP And Torque.. now i notice a difference and yes i ran a great time with it tuned for my gs-r manifold but what should i use.. as my vtec i'm told by alot of people i should now set my vtec for where my secondaries would have engaged cause thats my max airflow and right now on my current tune, i'm maxing out my gs-r injectors at 6000-9000. So what should i set my vtec too and what else should i adjust on my setup as is..What else should i tune to see the best performance.

Not the money and time... Any help besides a cocky *** comment would help.. i'm waiting for my af controller.
I'm pretty sure that wasn't a cocky *** statement. Take it to a dyno and get it done the proper way. Just because some guy on here tells you to set it at 5600 or something doesn't mean thats gonna be right for your set-up. If you want it to engage at the best place, you're gonna have to do it the right way.

Set your VtAk to go in at 9800, it'll kick you in the *** y0!
Get the damn thing tuned. People are telling you this for a reason.

Stock setting is a "general idea". You still need to have it tuned.

we all have nothing better to do than orgasm over your setup.../sarcasm
serisouly though, set your vtec to engage at about 8k and make sure you rev to 10k before you shift.

if you're running stock cams wouldn't you want the stock vtec engagement? even if you tuned i doubt you do anything worth while for the motor.
stock cams were designed to engage where they do stock.

Really. If you cant contribute anything positive, then dont post anything at all.
To the original poster, list your entire setup, then ask specifically for people who have the same setup, where did they set vtec at. Everyone is right, this isnt the most accurate way to do it, but hey, hes just asking for advice.
If you dont have something positive to contribute dont post.
