bogging down when turning wheel at idle
I drive a 97 Accord EX 5speed.
I was parking my car in the driveway tonight as I got off work, and my car was idling at about 490 RPM (clutch in and in neutral), but then when I would turn the wheel, it would drop down to about 250 RPM whereupon my car would start bogging down. This is when the clutch was still disengaged. Obviously power steering is going to take some power down, but I've never had the problem where my car would bog down because of it. I have a little less than 1/4 tank of gas, and I've had less than that before where it still drove fine, so that doesn't seem to be the issue to me. Also, since it was doing the same thing in gear with the pedal to the floor as well as when it was out of gear, plus I had no problem shifting on the way home, so it doesn't seem to be the clutch being not fully disengaged (at least not due to the pedal).
I did wire up my car for a sub today, but I've done that many times before and never had a problem like this. Everything was reconnected and done so properly. I'm stumped.
I'll drive it tomorrow and see if the problem is still there.
Also, the weather is chilly, but it's not all that cold..so that doesn't seem to be the problem
Anyone know what it could be?

check your power steering pressure switch, make sure it's connected and or wiring that it is in working condition also operation of the p/s press. switch too.
