What's the most gas you have put in at once?

What's the most gas you have put in at once?
Today I think I set a record at 12.323 G. I was wondering how close other people have gotten to the full 13.2 or if it's event possible to get that much in... Has anyone filled up after running out of gas? This info will come in handy now that I'm driving 30 miles to get to work...

well..... i was on a trip that my friend made me go on and we were completely out of gas. Running on fumes to get the the gas station. And he said he'd buy me gas. And this was up in the mountains and the station was prepay only. So he prepaid for like 13 gallons, haha.
So I told him he was a dumbass and wasted money, since I had never even gotten 12 gallons in even with the gas light on for a few miles. But he's a smart guy, and he pumped 13 gallons. I dont know what the hell he thought he was proving by pumping the last 2 gallons all over my car... That didn't get us any farther

I've had the pump not shut off after mine was full too. I went and told the cashier that gas got all over the place and he said, "Don't worry about it". I was like you idiot my car has gas on it do you have a hose?
You are supposed to report the gas station when this happens.

Same here. I've never passed 11gallons. I get paranoid when the gas needle lingers on the E mark. I always wondered why when its on the E, my gas light never comes on. I just thought the light was broken or something. Well, I guess I could drive another 70 or so miles without worrying.

From when the light turns on, to running out of gas and being very fucked? I think you have about 2 gallons when the light turns on, so you have roughly 40-50 miles left.
