Default magnetic oil plugs

what do you guys think about the magnetic out drain plugs are they actually worth the money and more importantly do they actually work, and why cant i just put a big magnet on my oil pan???

its just a nice thing to know if you have metal particles inside your motor when doing oil changes... keeps you on top of possible issues occuring... i never used one but i can see why people use em...

they are very useful if the engine was recently rebuilt with new bearings and stuff

Yeah, get one... Every time I do an oil change I notice tiny particles stuck to it...
