OK i was just reving up my car because the idle is horrible and it takes forever for it to gain speed (JDM DOHC ZC 89 88 l3 1020427 Tranny, and i literally have my foot on the floor and takes about 8seconds to gain up 2 4,000 rpms). OK I JUST DID IT AND LIKE THIS **** CAME OUT OF MY EXHAUST BUT IT WAS IN FLAMES LIKE FAST N FURIOUS **** LOL ok heres a pic of it its still hot as **** but picture it in flames

It looks like slag out of the convertor...

Based on the description of your problems,
Your convertor might be clogged and overheating..

****, if it's just straight out of the header...it's probably something out of your engine.

Is the metal aluminum or steel?
Take a magnet and see if it sticks..

Pistons are aluminum...non-magnetic..

If a chunk of metal came out of the exhaust and it is that big, I am not too sure if the car would even run again without a rebuild. My advice is to do a compression test and see if the motor is toast.

hey sorry i was talkin to my friend about stuff and well this is what he says...lemme know if hes on the right track...dont flame him he just tryin to help like ya....

Rings In Corona: how the hell does oil smell bad
Rings In Corona: dude just check for grit in the oil
Rings In Corona: if there isnt any
Rings In Corona: nothing is wrong
Rings In Corona: you just got bad spark and ecu
Rings In Corona: get engine cleaner to clean that old gas out
Rings In Corona: and you should be fine
iNsAnE cRx 420: ***** i still would need to change a piston
Rings In Corona: why
iNsAnE cRx 420: flamin pile of steelish **** dont come flyin outta ur car everyday
Rings In Corona: its probably carbon build up
Rings In Corona: and if it was piston, a piece that big missing would mean one cylinder has very little or NO compression
Rings In Corona: so do this
Rings In Corona: 1 by 1
Rings In Corona: take the wires off the spark plugs
Rings In Corona: and see if it sounds the same
Rings In Corona: one at a time
Rings In Corona: if it sounds diff
Rings In Corona: put it back on
Rings In Corona: and try the next one

is he might be right...that thing that flew out might had been a carbon build up???

also i forgot to mention earlier that on the exhaust manifold it was missin 1 bolt...and i think it was leakin some fluid from it...anyway i found another bolt and screw it on...once after that, thats when the thing flew out of it...maybe it could had be carbon build up??
