Default Car won't start

I really need some opinions guys. I was driving my car last night (94 GSR) and everything seemed fine just like any other night. I wake up this morning and my car cranks but won't turn over. When ever I crank it I can smell gas. Is this a fuel pump problem or fuel filter? Where can I buy a new one for cheap? Please I really need your help.

Have you popped the hood to check and see if fuel is leaking anywhere, i.e. your injectors, fuel rail, fuel filter, etc...?

Have you done anything to the car recently, did you get gas last night, be a little more descriptive...

I havent done anything new to the car recently. There was a maintenence req'd light going on a couple times during this week. I can't see any gas leaked on my driveway but I'll check again. I'm not good when it comes to spotting things like fuel injectors, rail filter etc. Isnt the fuel rail connected to the intake manifold? And the injectors are on the fuel rail right? Where is the exact location of the fuel filter?

The injectors are located right where the intake manifold meets the head... They go in at kind of a 45 degree angle, and on top of them is the fuel rail... Check all four injectors, check the fuel pressure regulator which is on the drivers side, on top of the fuel rail... Make sure it has a vaccuum line hooked up to it, and then check the other end of the rail where there is a hose connected.... Make sure it's not leaking there, and then follow that hose to the fuel filter...

Ok I checked the fuel injectors, fuel rail, the hoses and the ground and there is no sign of any leak anywhere. Could it be something blocking the fuel line or the pump? Any other suggestions?

well, make sure ur fuel pump is workin. turn the key on but don't start it. you should hear the fuel pump cycle. do it a couple of imes. it's pretty hard to hear so make sure it's quiet around you. it's almost like a soft buzzing sound. if you can't hear it, the problem is your fuel pump. check for fuses and relyays for it. make sure they're all ok. . i'm not sure where the pump is located on the gen3's, but on my g2, it's rite underneath the back seat. pull off ur seat, unplug the harness and find out which one is "+" put a direct 12v from the batt with a long wire or cable. this mite get it to work. same thing happens to me...jus waitin til payday to replace it. good luck man

If the fuel pump wasn't working, there would be no gas for you to smell. (unless your tank is leaking out on the ground....)

The FPR is on the fuel rail, with a vacuum hose. Pull off that vacuum hose after trying to start. If there's any fuel in there, your FPR is shot.
