Default cable/hydrolic question?

do all 92-00 USDM civics and 94-01 integras have hydrolic transmissions or do some of them have cable trannys? thanx

Yes, all '92+ Civic/del Sol and '94+ Integras have a hydraulic clutch.

yep, all hondas 92+ are hydraulic.

Not quite all. '92-93 Integras had a cable clutch.

Hasport makes conversion kits to go both ways (hydraulic-clutch trans in a cable-clutch car, and vice versa).

The difference is how the clutch is actuated. Cable-clutch transmissions obviously use a cable to engage/disengage the clutch, while hydraulic-clutch transmissions use a hydraulic system complete with master cylinder, slave cylinder, and a hydraulic line.

yes, HASport makes them for around $300. You can make one for much cheaper tho, there's not much to them....

yeah, one pulls on a cable when you push in the clutch, the other uses hydraulic lines and pressure....
