Oil leaking from my distributor..
I just installed a brand new distributor from distributor king on my motor. It's coming from the bottom part of the distributor. I tightened it and it still leaks oil. It's on my B18.
try taking a picture. it could be that you installed it wrong. the 2 teeth could've been put in wrong (where it connects to the camshaft). might be 180 degrees off. either that or it just so happens there is a leak at the valve cover gasket

wouldn't hurt to replace the O-ring again($2.22 part). parts are known to be defective from the factory from time to time you know. I had a Honda rebuild distributor that went bad as soon as it put in it.

if its a slow leak we thought the leak on my b16 was comin from the distributor but it ended up it was comin from the seal on the vtec sylenoid that connects to the head and the top part of the sylenoid

It's a slow leak. Not too much, I'm thinking it might be the oil i rubbed on the dizzy before installing it. I'll wait a few days and see if it goes away. I sprayed simple green on the block before installing the dizzy. I did of course covered the necessary parts.
